The Earth is My Place Environmental Impact
By selling T-shirts made from recycled materials, I’ve helped repurpose nearly 3,000 plastic bottles, reducing waste and pollution.
Through The Earth is My Place, I’ve planted over 1,000 trees (and counting!) to support reforestation and offset carbon emissions. This is equivalent to absorbing about 21,000 kg of COâ‚‚ each year.
These trees also provide enough oxygen for approximately 2,200 people annually.

I’m proud to be part of the ASPIRE community, where I offer my sustainable T-shirts (made from recycled plastic bottles and organic cotton) and, soon, recycled sunglasses on their marketplace. The key to reducing that impact is focusing on practices that we can sustain long-term, without the harmful effects of traditional manufacturing. I'm proud to be at the forefront of this movement, offering a range of eco-friendly apparel. Every fibre has a cost and a benefit; with our eco-friendly apparel, the benefits far outweigh the costs.
Certifications
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, from the harvesting of the raw materials through environmentally and socially responsible practices, certified by an independent third party.
The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is a voluntary product standard for tracking and verifying the content of recycled materials in a final product. The standard applies to the full supply chain, content claims, social and environmentally friendly practices, chemical restrictions in the production process.
The Organic Blended Content Standard (OCS) verifies the presence and amount of organic material contained in a finished product by providing a strict chain of custody system from the organic raw material source. Royal Apparel’s organic cotton/ recycled polyester blends, as well as, the hemp / organic cotton products are OCS certified.
